United stars exit FIBA Window with unbeaten record

Melbourne United’s stars are set to return to the team following a successful FIBA World Cup Qualifying window.

The Jacob Chance-led Australia Boomers followed up their strong outing on Friday with a dominant performance on Sunday, taking down Jordan by 33 points.

In just over 20 minutes of play, Luke Travers created at an elite level for his teammates, dishing out 10 assists to go with seven points and six rebounds.

Tom Wilson also made the most of his time on the court, finishing with 13 points, four assists, and three rebounds.

In the earlier game, Shea Ili and Sam Waardenburg played limited minutes as New Zealand cruised past Syria 126-74.

Waardenburg controlled the paint, scoring 13 points in less than 16 minutes, while Ili got in the passing lanes to produce four steals, while creating easy looks for his fellow Tall Blacks to the tune of seven assists.

Australia and New Zealand now sit first and second in Group E respectively.
