Shea Ili has been rewarded for his tremendous play this season with the NBL’s Best Sixth Man Award.

Ili has been crucial to United’s success this season, averaging a career-high in assists and steals, while shooting the ball at above 41% from three for the second consecutive year.

This is the second year in a row a United player has taken home the award, after Jo Lual-Acuil Jr won for his performance across NBL21.

Ili also finished one vote away from taking home the Damian Martin Trophy for the Best Defensive Player.

A trio of United players were also recognised for their efforts, being named as part of the All-NBL teams.

Jo Lual-Acuil Jr's huge season has been rewarded with a spot in the All-NBL First Team, while Chris Goulding and Matthew Dellavedova were both named to the All-NBL Second Team.

JLA also finished second in voting for the Most Improved Player Award, and third in voting for the Andrew Gaze MVP Award.

Head Coach Dean Vickerman finished second in voting for the Coach of the Year Award.

Join the team as they stand UNITED AGAINST TASMANIA on Thursday night from 7:30pm at John Cain Arena. Tickets are on sale now!
