Krslovic, United ‘looking forward’ to huge Round 12 games

A veteran of 216 NBL games, including a Championship victory in NBL24, Fabijan Krslovic knows what it takes to have success within this league.

That is why despite back-to-back losses in Round 11, he is eager to get back on the court and reverse our fortunes this weekend.

We are set to head on the road to face the Adelaide 36ers (1st) on Friday evening, followed by a home game against the Sydney Kings (5th) on Sunday afternoon.

Having identified what went wrong in Round 11, Krslovic told The Extra Pass podcast that the team is up for the challenge ahead of them this weekend.

“I feel like we’ve done a good job of coming in and looking at what we need to do to be better,” he said.

“It’s not like we need to re-invent the wheel or anything, it’s more looking at where we have strayed off the path. 

“We’ve had such a great start to the season, we put ourselves in a good spot, and yeah we’ve hit a small bump in the road but we’re still in a great position and it’s nothing that we need to lose our minds about.

“Looking at it, we didn’t execute our basics, our structure well enough last weekend… we need to get back to what we’ve been doing really well.

“We had a great session today, super high energy, high level of competitiveness which put us in some uncomfortable situations on the court.

“It’s never fun losing two games, it’s a lot more fun when you win two, coming in it’s a bit of a better vibe but we’ve done a good job of coming in and looking at this challenge ahead of us… We’re looking forward to this weekend.”
