Offseason Games Wrap: Bradtke wins Championship, Krslovic advances into Grand Final

Melbourne United Development Player Jensen Bradtke and the Gold Coast Rollers have been crowned as NBL1 North Champions following a 2-0 series sweep against the Ipswich Force.

Following a dominant 33-point Game 1 win in which Bradtke filled the stat sheet (16 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three steals, three blocks), Game 2 came down to the wire.

With the game tied going into the fourth quarter, Bradtke tallied 10 of his 28 points in the final term, leading the Rollers to the Championship.

In the East, Fabijan Krslovic put up a huge 23-point, 10-rebound double-double as his Norths Bears took down the Central Coast Crusaders 94-80.

After opening up a 20-point lead by half time, the Bears were able to hold off any late fight back to lock in their spot in the Conference Grand Final against Sutherland Sharks on Sunday 16 August.

Down in the South, both Tom Wilson (25 points, seven rebounds, seven assists) and Christian D’Angelo (eight points, five rebounds, three assists) fell short in the Preliminary Finals, with Wilson going down to the Frankston Blues and D’Angelo losing in overtime to the Eltham Wildcats.
