Oduro adapting quickly to new surrounding

Just over 48 hours on from landing in Australia, new Melbourne United import Josh Oduro is already meshing perfectly with his new teammates.

Speaking to the media for the first time in United colours, the big-man touched on his first impressions of his new environment and new teammates.

“I mean, we've got a lot of people that play hard,” he said.

“We've got a lot of smart basketball players and Chancey is doing a great job just keeping us together and showing us the system, so I didn't really feel like it was too hard my first day out there. Everyone's playing the right way and so that's a nice thing.

“I’ve got a little bit of prior knowledge with some of these guys, like LT, Joe Ingles, but, you know, just continuing to get out there, get a lot of reps, talking to them on and off the court. I think we'll be a really close-knit group.”
