Goulding returns for Round 7

Melbourne United will welcome captain Chris Goulding back into the lineup tomorrow night, with the skipper set to suit up against the Cairns Taipans in Game 1 of Round 7.

It is welcome news for the United faithful, who will be eager to see Goulding back on court after a low-grade calf injury and subsequent related health issues delayed his return.

Having rejoined the group in full practice this week, Goulding is ready to pull on the blue again and help lead United through a big few days of basketball.

His return brings the captain’s leadership, experience and trademark shooting back into the mix, giving United a boost ahead of Saturday night’s clash in Cairns.

Fans can tune in from 7:30pm, with the game live on 9Now and ESPN.

The excitement will then follow Goulding and the team home to John Cain Arena, where United will take on the New Zealand Breakers on Melbourne Cup Eve.

Monday night will give the United faithful the opportunity to welcome their captain back in person, with a 7:30pm tip-off and a public holiday the next day setting the scene for a big night at home.

Round up your mates, bring the family and get behind Goulding and the squad as they take on the Breakers.

Tickets for Melbourne United’s Cup Eve clash on Monday 2 November are available now via AXS.
