United eagerly awaiting Bendigo blockbusters

With our pair of huge Ignite Cup matchups in January fast approaching, excitement is building to see our stars take the court inside of Bendigo Stadium.

Ahead of our games against the Cairns Taipans on 7 January and Brisbane Bullets on 21 January, a number of players headed up the highway to Bendigo for some community activities.

Getting to go to a number of different schools and assist with a junior clinic inside of Bendigo Stadium, Tom Wilson said he got a really great feeling about the passion for basketball in the region.

“It was great to get up to Bendigo before our games, you can already see how excited a lot of the kids are for the games,” he said.

“As a Victorian it’s always special when we can play NBL games across different parts of the state, and give people that may not always be able to get to a game at John Cain Arena the chance to experience a United game.

“They’re going to be two pretty huge games for us, so we’re hoping we can have a super loud sold out crowd cheering us on.”

Tickets to both games are selling fast, so be sure to head to Ticketek.com.au to secure your seat today!

We are also offering a special Bendigo Two-Game Membership, which is the most cost-effective way to see these games. Get access to both games, plus a range of exclusive member benefits like:

  • Priority access to finals tickets played at John Cain Arena, should Melbourne United play
  • 10% discount on merchandise
  • A Member Card and Lanyard
  • Exclusive member communications
