Daniels, Vickerman to represent Boomers against Tall Blacks

Melbourne United star Dash Daniels is set to suit up for the Australian Boomers in the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers versus New Zealand.

Daniels, who won a gold medal with the Boomers at the 2025 Asia Cup, was named as part of the 12-man lineup on Friday morning.

Since debuting in the NBL, the 17-year-old has thrived, averaging 6.3 points and 1.3 steals per game in just over 16 minutes per game.

Dean Vickerman will lead the Boomers team, stepping in as Head Coach for the pair of games.

Both games will be streamed live via ESPN.
