Krebs believes the entire team has been built to work tirelessly in the pursuit of a Championship

After two seasons falling just short of his first NBL Championship, Tanner Krebs is as motivated as ever to get over the hump in NBL26.

The Tasmanian-born wing has been one of United's most consistent and durable contributors across the past two campaigns, appearing in all 73 of United’s matchups.

Having now been around the majority of our new-look NBL26 lineup leading into our first preseason game on Thursday evening at Casey against the Cairns Taipans, Krebs says there is a clear kind of player the club has recruited.

“I think first and foremost it’s about personality and characteristics, who are guys that are going to come in every day and work their butts off but also encourage and make others better around them,” he explained.

“Playing hard, that’s kind of our mindset, that every game is a battle and no other team is going to outwork us.

“Off court it’s about camaraderie, no bumping heads, everyone getting along and knowing each other.

“I think those are probably the things that kind of sets us apart from the rest of the pack.”

With so much anticipation ahead of the start of next season, the time is now to lock in your seat to see every second of action inside John Cain Arena.
