Offseason Games Wrap: Krslovic dominant in return to NBL1 East

With the NBL26 season behind us, let’s take a look at how our players are playing both locally in the NBL1 and across the rest of the globe.

Having made the move back to his junior club at Norths Bears, Fabijan Krslovic has had a dominant first two games in the NBL1 East.

The big man led the Bears to a pair of victories, helping the team to the top of the conference ladder after the opening round.

Across the two games, Krslovic averaged a double-double (18 points and 10 rebounds).

In the South conference, Kyle Bowen and Malith Machar split their first two games of the season with the Sandringham Sabres.

Machar tallied 20 points in both contests, while Bowen has filled the stat sheet, averaging 9.5 points, nine rebounds, three assists, 2 blocks and 1.5 steals.

Reigning conference MVP Tom Wilson also went 1-1 in his two games with the Melbourne Tigers, while Tanner Krebs is yet to pick up a victory after joining the Casey Cavaliers.

On the other side of the globe, Jesse Edwards has helped Baskonia find success in the Spanish ACB, guiding the team to four wins in five games, all of which he has started.

In Italy, Milton Doyle has assumed a similar role to what he played at United, coming off the bench as a scoring threat with Napoli.

In his first time suiting up, Doyle put up 18 points, four rebounds and two assists in a win over Varese.

The best way to stay up to date with all everything happening at Melbourne United across the offseason is to download the Melbourne United App via the App store or Google Play store.
