Edwards joins Baskonia for remainder of Spanish season

Melbourne United big-man Jesse Edwards is set to join Spanish basketball club Saski Baskonia for the remainder of the Liga ACB season.

Edwards was recently named club MVP for United after averaging 13.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.1 blocks across his 33 appearances in NBL26.

Some of the towering Dutchman’s best performances included a 25-point, 10-10 shooting game against the Adelaide 36ers, a 22-point, 12 rebound, 3 block game against the Sydney Kings, and an 18-point, 17 rebound game against the Perth Wildcats.

Edwards also tallied the second most dunks in the competition, finishing with 53 slams across his debut season.
