The forward says he can’t wait to make his debut in front of the United faithful

With just over one month until our first home game inside John Cain Arena against the New Zealand Breakers, new recruit Finn Delany is struggling to hide his excitement.

Not only set to face his former team, the 21 September matchup will give the forward his first taste of playing in front of a packed-out JCA crowd as a member of the home team.

Ahead of the game, Delany touched on his excitement to experience the energy of the United faithful, and his impressions of the team so far this preseason.

“I’ve actually always loved playing at John Cain against United,” he said.

“I really love that arena, so to be a part of the home team there and have the best fanbase in the NBL behind me and the group, I’m really excited, I can’t wait.

“I think we’ve got a great squad with the right people and the right players and coaches too.

“It’s a huge reason why I wanted to come here. Just the people in the room, team-first guys, guys willing to sacrifice, but also just an extremely high level of talent which is awesome to play with and compete against every day.”

With so much anticipation ahead of the start of next season, the time is now to lock in your seat to see every second of action inside John Cain Arena.
