United coming into Round 10 with ‘attack-mode mindset’

With two games remaining before the FIBA Window break, our stars are looking to put together a pair of strong performances in Round 10 of the Hungry Jack’s NBL26 season.

That starts on Friday evening when we face off against the Illawarra Hawks on the road in Wollongong.

Looking to avenge our only road defeat of the season to date, Finn Delany broke down the mindset the playing group will need to have to come away from the game with the win.

“Everyone just needs to be super aggressive,” he explained.

“When you’re playing with that kind of attack-mode mindset at all times, it makes advantages bigger and (we can) capitalise on advantages quicker on the floor and everyone can feed off that.

“We have so many weapons that everybody just needs to be ready for when the advantage calls for them to shoot or for them to capitalise (on an opportunity).

“We need to be super hungry. The big fella (Javale McGee) had a big game against us so just doing a better job against him and making things more difficult for him and everyone.”

Fans can tune into the matchup live on Friday evening from 7:30pm via ESPN.

Following Friday's game, the team will return home for a matchup with the Perth Wildcats inside John Cain Arena from 4:30pm on Sunday 23 November.
